Just Add Vintage- Again

I could Just Add Vintage all day everyday.....
Here's my second entry in this weeks Just Add Ink Challenge.
I'm right into making little books at the moment, and they hand themselves to the vintage theme very easily. I've covered the card cover of the book with Raspberry Tart DSP. Inside I've sponged the pages with Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive, and the stamped with a plethra of different stamps in Rich Razzleberry. I've also doodled some of the embleshments and added flowers.

Just Add Vintage - In Flanders Fields the Poppies Grow

This weeks Just Add Ink challenge- is Vintage Theme, right up my street!!
So here's my first entry. I've made a 6 X 6 scrapbook page of one of my ancestors who fought in WW1. I've used Always Artichoke cardstock as the base. I then photocoped a genuiine WW1 map of Ypres and surrounding area, and sponged and distressed using Old Olive and Close to Cocoa. I also wanted to capture the fact that small postcards were the way loved ones kept in touch. So I used the postcard stamp from the Winter Post Stamp Set. Finally I wanted a poppy, so I used the Butterfly punch, and watercoloured the poppy adding a button and ribbon centre. I'm happy how this page has turned out, I wanted a heavily distressed look but also not just a pretty page and I think I've achieved that

Cute Box

This cute box was shared by a fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Anna Sutherland. Cute isn't it?
I wanted my box to have a slightly "eco green" feel, so I've gone with a colour combo of Ruby Red, Garden Green and Classic Black, using Sahara Sand as the cardstock. The Cottage Garden Stamp Set available in Clear or Wood Mounted is a very verstile set. These boxes are easy to make and can be filled with little goodies.

Asian Artistry

Using the new level 2 hostess set, I've made this pretty card. Inked with Baja Breeze and the shaded using blender pens in So Saffron and Old Olive. I wanted an 18th century pretty feel to the card. I love the new Tag Punch, it makes much a cute little emblishment.

Artist Trading Cards (ATC)

These are my first ATC's and I just love them!!! I know I'll be making more, I'm keen to swap, so if anyone out there wants to swap with me, email me. I chose a theme of Marie- Antoinette, and I love how they have a vintage aged feel, but are pretty too. I've used heaps of embossing on here with scraps from old books. Colouring with inks and blender pens.

Vintage Feel

I've made this Scrap "page" on a block of MDF, To get the image onto the block, I've transfered it using the acrylic paint method. I've then decorated with embossing powders, and one of my favourite stamp sets Baroque Motifs.
I love how it's turned out, the photo is my great grandfather. Let me know what you think.

Just Add Ink Challenge 12

This weeks challenge is a very broad sketch challenge, I think sketch challenges are my favourite! Since seeing a Morepork (owl) in our pineforest 2 weeks ago, I keep seeing owl motifs Everywhere! So I decided to make an owl out of scraps of cardstock and DSP and piece him together. I've used acrylic paint for the 'stitches'. Brads for his eyes. I hope you like him?

Gift Tag

I love how with Stampin" Up! products, even the most simple gifts can be turned into gorgeous presents to give to loved ones. Here's a very simple tag for our neighbours, to help them celebrate 1 year in their new home.
