Cafe Au Lait

Bonjour mes aime!
Following on from my last card and dreaming of drinking cafe au lait in a Paris street cafe, I've come up with this card. I wanted to use this stamp for another Gingersnap Challenge, but just couldn't quite get it to work- then I had this idea, I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out. I especially like the colours.

Colour Combo: Pink Piroutte, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip.
Stamps: Artistic Etchings, Elements of Style, Lovely as a Tree, Pun Fun.

Breezy Summer

This weeks challenge over at Just Add Ink is to Just Add Summer. Now for me it is a real challenge to do a simple card- I love adding heaps of bits and bobs. So I set myself the challenge of doing a real simple card. I've embossed with black a shell from Seaside (retired) on a scrap piece of Whisper White. Embossed again with black the sentiment from Grunge Rock from the current mini. I've then brayered on both pieces, using inks: So Saffron, Peach Parfait, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise. Add a little bit of distressing and Linen Thread and it's done. I think it has a real sea worn effect- I love it!

Because I Care

I've joined this latest edition of Ustamp with Dawn & Friends, I wasn't sure what to expect but 2 days in I've already seen and got the directions to make some gorgeous stuff. Here is the first project I've had a go at- designed by my very own upline Paula Dobson. So I had to make this one first!! She is a very talented lady, and I'm proud to be part of her team.
To join in the fun over at Ustamp with Dawn & her friends- please see the blinky on the right hand side- it will take you right there.
Happy New Year to Everyone-
